I used Marmoset Toolbox for rendering. The poses were set up in 3Ds Max.
Leftovers double as a weapon and a good ingredient for troll bone broth.

Professor Quirrell's line from Harry Potter has been one of my favourite (and often quoted) moments from the series. That lumbering, massive troll shown in the movie was the first thing to pop into my mind when I decided to create this model.
Base model was created using Sculptris, with retypology completed using Mudbox. The accessories, along with UV-unwrapping, rigging, skinning, poses and animation were produced using 3Ds Max. The textures were made using Substance Painter and the final renders completed in Marmoset toolbox.
Total polygon count is 31,006.
